Staring at the wardrobe for past half an hour!
5:00 PM “I don’t have anything to wear”
5:45 PM “Damn, I don’t have anything to wear!”
Still not able to decide what to wear for that upcoming get together? Stop blaming your wardrobe for not giving you enough options to choose from; even when each and every single item was handpicked by you after a thorough mind boggling hour long session! Pick out that random denim or that iconic white tee, mix and match and add a tinge of edge to your grooming.
TUCK IT HALF WAY
WHY: It gives a fresh, casual yet chic look to that old shirt/T-shirt of yours!
HOW: Tuck your shirt in just half way. In case of T shirt, tuck it in from the front and let the back flow as usual. Next time you hit that coffee break with your friends, do remember the trick!
PUSH UP THAT BLAZER SLEEVE
WHY: Nothing looks more flattering than pushing up the sleeves of your jacket/blazer or your sweater.
HOW: Don that blazer with a little twist. Push up the sleeve and make it stay around the elbow with your safety pin. That will prevent it from falling back over and over again and you’d be able to concentrate on that cocktail and interesting conversation, a bit more.
ROLL IT UP
WHY: Take out that old denim of yours and roll it up to your ankles and this simple trick will provide you that different look that you had been searching in your wardrobe for hours before giving up!
HOW: Roll your jeans up to your ankle.
WHY: Add some fun to your look as you mix and match with the items from your wardrobe.
HOW: Add a funky scarf to that white tee-blue denim iconic look and stand out in the crowd.
TIE THE KNOT
WHY: Because it’s probably the most different take on your white shirt which might bring along lots of compliments if done the right way.
HOW: Tie a knot with the ends of your shirt and if you wish to experiment more, tie a loose knot only at one side. You can try this out with your over sized T shirt as well.
As Coco Chanel quotes “In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.”What makes you different is not the perfect attire for every occasion but how you turn that slightly imperfect attire into a perfect one. It’s always about what you can do with what you have. So go ahead, experiment with your looks and share with us your experience!
