Shades of Red, White and Pink
Many of our A-list stars looked at the red carpet for inspiration while others liked to turn on the heat in soothing white. Roasmund Pike of ‘Gone Girl’s’ closed her red-carpet season with a bang in structured lace Givenchy gown, ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ star Dakota Johnson turned up the heat in a fiery Saint Laurent column number, While Lupita Nyong’o appeared in custom Calvin Klein Collection column gown that had 6,000 pearls sewn in it. As pink was another major shade of the gala, we can’t miss on those sexy numbers of Zoe Saldana, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston.
Bright and Blushing:
There was a strong presence of SAG awards’ beauty color combinations at the ceremony. Divas like Reese Witherspoon, Anna Kendrick, Jennifer Lopez and Felicity Jones showed the fabulous combinations of refined skin and blushing cheeks. Simply spring-ready!
Another trend from the previous awards was the deep side-part. this super hit trend of Golden Globes was a glamour punctuation at Oscars. Leading ladies like Emma Stone, Marion Cotillard and Julianne Moore wore the classic turned modern look with much applaud.
Bold and Marsala Lip:
This year’s award season has seen bold lips as a standout trend. Oscars were no exception to it. In fact, it showcased the best version of daring and striking look. Margot Robbie and Dakota Johnson with their plump lips attracted the paparazzi.
It was expected to see the color of the year at the Oscars but we are so amazed to see it like this. Many of the nominees at the award ceremony had chosen the subtle color. We especially loved how Rosumund Pike sported it.
It is impossible to miss the bling. And our lovely ladies made us happy by choosing some serious bling for the gala. The night was all about statement jewels – necklaces, earrings, cuff and more. Scarlett Johansson, Cate Blanchett, Margot Robbie and Viola Davis flaunted gorgeous statement necklaces while Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Dakota Johnson and Rita Ore showed the priciest stunner on Sunday night.
