The ‘Gossip Girl’ star Liz Hurley and former Australian cricketer Shane Warne have announced their weddings plans according to which the self-said unlike couple will marry twice in different countries. The British actress and Australian fiancé have decided to first marry in Australia and then in the UK.
They have taken this decision because the customs and traditions of the two lands are different and they want to pay respect and honor to both the traditions. Also their loved ones are based in two distant countries so to assure that both sets of families and friends will attend the wedding, they have taken this decision.
The couple in their first joint interview has declared their wedding plans which will be in 2013 and also reveal their pet names. According to the Cricketer, Liz calls him Big Blond and he love to call her Luna.
This will be the second marriage for both who met in January, 2011. Shane proposed Hurley in October, 2011 with a stunning sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Like their engagement the ring also gathered a lot of paparazzi. It was a 9-carat square cut sapphire bauble which was flaunting two trillion-cut diamonds weighing approx 2 carat each. According to Us Weekly the ring was estimated around $100,000.
Shane’s selection of the sapphire ring was ultimate because firstly the ring was a royal expression of eternal bonding and secondly it was his birthstone.
Now as the couple is about to wed in 2013, we are expecting another thoughtful style in wedding bands. Meanwhile, if you are also planning for a summer engagement or wedding then sapphire engagement rings are the best choice to punctuate your expression.
